Overview
The client is a global professional services firm with a presence in over 30 countries, specialising in end-to-end digital transformation of operations for corporate customers.
The client manages more than 200 leased locations and properties around the globe for its operational units.
This project was delivered through a joint partnership between FALM Systems and InSynchro.
Challenge
At the start of the project, leases and related operational activities were managed using Excel spreadsheets.
Each lease had its own spreadsheet with no synchronisation between them, creating difficulties in tracking and maintaining accurate payment cycles.
The lack of integration and centralisation also made overall lease visibility and payment-cycle reporting time-consuming and prone to inaccuracies.
There was no common lease-management process across regions, making associated expenses difficult to control.
With lease volumes expected to increase, the client needed a systematic approach capable of supporting global lease operations while accommodating regional lease practices.
Solution
A tailored solution based on Oracle Primavera Unifier was implemented and integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite through Oracle Integration Cloud.
Primavera Unifier's cloud and mobile capabilities enabled the client to localise lease workflows for individual regions while maintaining a global, streamlined lease-management process.
The solution provided the flexibility to manage global lease commitments while reducing the effort required to establish, manage, reconcile and report active leases.
Automated lease-payment generation, ERP integration and lease commitment forecasting supported a centralised repository serving as the single point of truth for lease commitments and budget planning.
Result
The unified approach significantly reduced the manual effort required to generate and process lease payments on time.
Parametric scheduled payment values reduced manual and complex re-computation of lease payment amounts.
Automated lease-payment generation enabled increased transaction volumes to be processed with less effort and overhead.
Integration with Oracle E-Business Suite established a single version of the truth, improving reporting consistency and reliability for forecasting and decision-making.
The solution was rolled out simultaneously to lease operations teams globally as part of the client's Digital Transformation initiative.
