Our Team
Brothers Mathew, David, and Verghese Kochummen co-founded inSynchro in December 1999 together with Peter Tai who came onboard as a business advisor and angel investor. Together, they guided its growth from a three-person start-up into an international project management and construction technology business serving clients across Southeast Asia, Australia, the United States and the GCC countries. Their complementary leadership spans corporate strategy, market development, business operations and governance, technology and innovation, providing the foundation for inSynchro's continued international growth and evolution.

David Kochummen, BBA

As Group CEO, David leads the company's international market expansion and commercial growth. With more than 40 years of sales and business development expertise, his focus includes developing new markets, strengthening strategic customer relationships, establishing technology alliances and building partner ecosystems that extend inSynchro's reach and capabilities. He plays a central role in positioning the group for its next stage of global growth.
David is also Co-Founder of Executive Eye Inc, where he leads its commercial direction, market positioning and international growth as the company expands the adoption of agentic AI for project intelligence.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer and Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of New York.
Verghese Kochummen, BEng, MSc, PMP
Co-Founder & Group CTO, inSynchro Group of Companies
As Group CTO, Verghese leads inSynchro's technology strategy, solution architecture, engineering and product development. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in software development, solution architecture and project delivery, he has led technical teams in designing and delivering integrated project management and construction technology solutions for complex client environments.
Verghese is also Co-Founder and chief architect of Executive Eye, inSynchro's agentic AI solution for project intelligence. He has led its development from concept to platform, shaping the architecture and engineering capabilities that enable AI agents to monitor project information, identify emerging risks and deliver actionable insights to project stakeholders.
Through his technology leadership, Verghese continues to advance the group's capabilities in integration, project controls and AI-driven project intelligence, with a focus on developing secure, scalable and practical technologies that address real-world project delivery challenges.
Verghese holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Mathew Kochummen, BSc, MBA, PMP

As Group COO, Mathew leads the operational framework that supports inSynchro's international business and continued growth. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience across operations, finance, human resources, legal and marketing, he oversees the operations of the group's businesses across multiple countries, with a focus on organizational effectiveness, financial and commercial discipline, governance and compliance with group policies.
Mathew also plays a key role in strengthening the organizational capabilities required to support international expansion, ensuring that growth across markets is supported by consistent operating practices, funding, effective governance and scalable business processes.
Mathew is also Co-Founder of Executive Eye, where he contributes to the operational and commercial framework supporting the company's growth and adoption as it expands into international markets.
Mathew holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science from University of Agriculture, Malaysia. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Peter Tai, BSc (Accounting & Finance)

Peter Tai is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and business builder who brings decades of experience in creating and scaling successful companies to inSynchro. As a founding angel investor, he serves as a key business advisor to the group and plays an active role in business development, helping shape inSynchro's growth strategy and expand its reach across new markets.
Peter began his career as an auditor with Pricewaterhouse before striking out on his own. He went on to establish a garment manufacturing business that undertook contract manufacturing for leading global sports brands. He later sold the business to a Hong Kong group, which subsequently listed the company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
A successful angel investor, Peter was an early backer of Pacific Healthcare in Singapore, which went on to list on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He is also a real estate developer and a director and shareholder of an investment company, and currently holds investments in several companies while serving as a business advisor to a number of start-ups.
Peter holds a degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick.
